Councillors’ Grant Fund Now Open

Warwickshire County Council Councillors’ Grant Fund for 2017-18 is now open for applications.

As a County Councillor I have £5000 provided by the County Council for community and voluntary organisations. The fund is aimed at funding for small scale projects that address local community priorities in Galley Common Division (Church Farm, Galley Common, The Shires, Whittleford) to support the following outcomes:

  • Warwickshire’s communities and individuals are supported to be safe, healthy and independent;
  •  Warwickshire’s economy is vibrant and supported by the right jobs, training, skills and infrastructure.
  • This year’s application process is online. The closing date is Monday 9 October 2017. Further information including guidance notes and access to the application form can be found by clicking on the following link:

    To support groups considering applying to this grant fund, the WCC Community Safety and Locality Working Service and Warwickshire Community and Voluntary Action (WCAVA) are jointly holding a series of funding workshops across the county. This will include providing guidance on: eligibility of projects, advice on completing a funding application, and signposting to other funding or support sources.

    Applicants are encouraged to attend one of the workshops. Details for the Nuneaton and Bedworth workshop:
