15 Jun Free Defib / CPR Awareness Session in Galley Common
Learn life-saving skills at a FREE Defib / CPR Awareness Session
Galley Common residents are invited to come along to a free defibrillator / CPR awareness session at the riding school (Nuneaton & North Warwickshire Equestrian Centre) this month.
The free session has been organised by Councillor Dan Gissane to give residents a chance to learn life-saving skills and to raise of awareness of the newly installed Public Access Defibrillator at the Galley Common Co-op on Chesterton Drive. The defibrillator and the secure cabinet housing it were paid for by donations and are worth nearly £2000.
The session will be held on 27 June 2018 at 6pm at Nuneaton and North Warwickshire Equestrian Centre in Galley Common.
Volunteer Community First Responders from Midlands Emergency Response (MER) will be carrying out the training alongside Paramedics from the ambulance service. There is no charge for this session although donations to Midlands Emergency Response are welcomed. You can donate securely online at http://mercfr.org or pay by cash or cheque to one of the volunteers on the night.
All are welcome to attend this free session although spaces will be limited to 24 attendees so booking is essential.
