Galley Common Fete A Success Despite The Rain

Galley Common Fete A Success Despite The Rain

Galley Common Summer Fete went ahead over the weekend and was a big success despite the wet weather.

The event at the riding school (Nuneaton and North Warwickshire Equestrian Centre) on Sunday 3 September was well attended with hundreds of Galley Common residents going along throughout the afternoon as well as Nuneaton’s MP Marcus Jones and the Mayor of Nuneaton and Bedworth.

Well done to all of the hard working volunteers, the local residents, supporters and stall holders for organising the fete and for pulling it off despite the challenges of the rain, the alpacas not turning up without any notice and being let down by the supplier of a giant bouncy castle. More than £2000 was raised, an excellent achievement for all involved!
