04 May Nuneaton and Bedworth Residents Send Clear Message In Local Elections
Labour has lost control of Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council
The message from residents was loud and clear after Thursday’s election as Conservatives gained eight seats on the Borough Council, winning in ten of the seventeen wards, and taking our total number of Councillors to sixteen.
Residents are tired of hearing excuses from the local Labour Party and have sent a clear message that change is needed.
Prior to the election Labour had a majority with twenty-five seats but now only hold seventeen, putting the Council in No Overall Control (NOC).
Conservatives have worked tirelessly for months on end speaking to residents across Nuneaton and Bedworth and listening to your views.
We built a positive campaign focusing on what matters most to local people.
Our town centres are in desperate need of regeneration and local Conservatives have a plan to bring them back to life.
Huge housing developments have been built and are being built in areas like Weddington and Galley Common, despite the lack of adequate infrastructure to support them.
Local people have had enough of the lack of innovation, the constant finger pointing and the same old excuses from the Labour leadership and the message was clear on Thursday that it’s time for change at the Town Hall.
Thank you for voting Conservative.
